Comenius report from Spain, February 2011
For myself I can say that I learnt that much that I couldn‘t write it all down.
First I need to thank Comenius for the experience that I got from this exchange.
I thought all European countries are more or less the same. But they aren‘t! I first needed this exchange to see that. Especially I never knew that the Spanish people have dinner that late.
As this big project began, I had not really realized what was waiting for me.
When I started with my application I never thought that I‘ll get that much experience from that exchange. All these tasks about our home, borough and city were irrelevant.
The main thing for me was to get to know other cultures and countries.
I gathered a lot of impressions from the trip to Spain in November 2010 and also when all Comenius people came to Berlin in summer 2010. I will never forget this fantastic program!
Because that‘s simply the best method to learn languages. Not study vocabulary all the time, not writing tests. Just speak the language.
It always needed a little time until someone started the conversation. Because to speak in another language than one‘s own needs courage.
But after a while, when I saw that my English isn‘t worse than the others English, I loved the conversations between French, Spanish and English people.
It sounds so funny how everyone spoke with his or her own accent.
So all in all it was simply wonderful.
From this experience I will profit my whole life.
Thank you for this unforgettable project, and let as many as possible profit from this program!
